Do you ever feel like you are alone in how you think about development or relate to global issues? Do you ever long for a trusted other to share your thoughts, ideas, and heart with? That’s what we’ve heard, and continue to hear, the world over with such statements as:
“Sometimes I feel like I’m in a big black empty box speaking into a vacuum,” said an integral practitioner in sustainable development writing from the Niger Delta of West Africa, happy to hear of the IWB website launch.
"’When you get the right people in a room, the impossible becomes imaginable.’ I want to get in that room. Except [I haven’t known] what that room is. I keep wanting some type of a learning integral community because I just know there is something more for me…I can't thank you enough for including me in this invitation,“ said an integral practitioner in sustainable business prior to attending the IWB Mentors Meeting in Istanbul in 2010.
The IWB network is one such room, and these are the people that make the seemingly impossible, imaginable and do-able.
