Every year IWB holds an international event, somewhere on the planet, and this year we are holding a gathering in Bogota, Colombia. This one is unique is that it will be held in Spanish, primarily for the Latin American integral community, although there will be English translation as needed. This event has been envisioned and designed by a committee of other Latin Americans, and we are honoured to be part of its manifestation. We are living in new times, full of questions, doubts, and confirmations.Times full of possibilities and challenges, times in which the search for models that allow us to approach global issues in a holistic way have acquired an importance without precedent.

Integral Theory is one such approach.

Integrating the wisdom of East and West as well as North and South, this approach provides us with a rigorous, elegant, and coherent model for effective social change. Uniting both deep philosophy as well as keen pragmatism, for over 15 years the Integral Approach has been used in various places across the world to address climate change, poverty alleviation, community development, capacity enhancement, leadership development, conservation and sustainability, HIV/AIDS, and more.

Integral Without Borders Institute started a conversation ten years ago to discuss how Integral Theory moves into practice in international, sustainable development. We have since gathered a network of over 500, have held annual events in various parts of the world, and we continue to be a clearing-house for resources, methodologies and trainings on integral praxis for international development.

This gathering in Colombia is one of the first IWB events to be held predominantly in Spanish, oriented towards the vibrant and creative integral community who seek sustainable change in Latin America. This event is one of the first to be held with pan-Latin American coordination, design and attendance. The themes selected and the design of the event has been co-created by a Committee from 6 different countries in Latin America, all oriented around the integral practice of engaging change.

These opportunities to gather, to deepen relationships, to build theory and practice together, and move our service into the world, are profound. We sincerely hope to see you there!

What You Can Expect:

To share and connect ideas about the Integral Model with a learning community from different people across the globe.
To engage in dialogue with Ken Wilber (via telconference) on key aspects of his theory and how it lands in action.
To know and learn applications from people that are “operationalizing” the model in concrete situations with successful outcomes.
To know and deepen your understanding on the different aspects of the Integral Approach.
To learn new practical skills in order to take your own experience to deeper levels.
To refine and deepen your self as an instrument of change, including facilitation on the Big Mind process, shadow work and spiral dance.

What the event includes:

Friday: Learning Laboratories on an Integral Approach

Learning Laboratories (divided into two rooms) for learning, reviewing, and deepening Integral Theory concepts. Learn the Integral model for engaging in social issues from people who have piloted and refined it's use in the field. This day will include theory, and as such will be an excellent introduction for some and a great refresher for others. And it will place that theory in direct relationship with the global issues that we face in this field of sustainability, social change and international development. There will be two labs to chose from, in both the morning and afternoon, with an experiential exercise in the middle of the day.

Saturday: Applications of an Integral Approach

In plenary, see and feel the Integral Approach in action, with illustrative examples of its application to global issues. This day will include praxis, and as such will be a great place to hone your own use of innovative models to engage complexity. This will span introductory through to in-depth levels of familiarity with Integral Theory applications, and will inspire you to bring greater breadth and depth to your own work in the world, and will include experiential work on shadow and participating in Big Mind.

Sunday: Design Laboratories for Prototyping Integral Projects

What is next? This day is our day to create together, to design and refine our own innovative, integral approaches to change. The day is structured as labs, and will be co-creative and participatory. Please bring your project details, ideas and manifestos that you want to contribute into this learning environment. Our objective is to design and present four or five prototypes for integral action. We will close the day with integrally informed live music and dancing, a true Latin American transpersonal fiesta.

Monday: Networking Day (free)

Spend October 5th networking with friends and colleagues from across Latin America.

Throughout the program:

We will have experiential exercises oriented towards your own personal development, such as meditation, spiral dance, Big Mind, self-inquiry, shadow work, and dialogue session. Oftentimes, when faced with the quick pace of reality, the tremendous impact of witnessing suffering, and the overwhelming complexity of global issues today, even if you are equipped with all the cutting-edge tools including all your education degrees, in fact you will most rely on your own self-as-instrument. It will be from your very self that you source a way forward. At IWB, we take that very seriously, and want to provide exercises for you to hone and deepen that very self-as-instrument in this gathering.

Encuentro Internacional Integral Sin Fronteras, 2015: Prácticas Integrales para la Transformación Social

Cada año ISF realiza un evento internacional, en algún lugar del planeta, y este año estamos celebrando una reunión en Bogotá, Colombia. Éste es único es que se llevará a cabo en español, sobre todo para la comunidad integral latinoamericano, aunque habrá traducción Inglés, según sea necesario. Este evento ha sido concebido y diseñado por un comité de otros latinoamericanos, y nos sentimos honrados de ser parte de su manifestación. Vivimos tiempos nuevos, llenos de preguntas, dudas y confirmaciones. Tiempos llenos de posibilidades y desafíos, tiempos en los cuales la búsqueda de enfoques que nos permitan abordar de una manera más holistica la complejidad de los problemas mundiales adquiere una importancia sin precedente.

La Teoría Integral es uno de estos enfoques.

Al integrar la sabiduría de Oriente y Occidente, así como la del Norte y la del Sur, nos brinda un modelo riguroso, elegante y coherente para conseguir transformaciones sociales efectivo. Al unir tanto una filosofía profunda como un pragmatismo agudo, desde hace más de 15 años el Enfoque Integral ha sido empleado en varios lugares alrededor del mundo para abordar el cambio climático, la mitigación de la pobreza, el desarrollo comunitario, la mejora de las capacidades, el desarrollo del liderazgo, la conservación y la sostenibilidad, el SIDA/VIH, entre otros.

El Instituto Integral Sin Fronteras dio origen a una conversación hace 10 años para discutir cómo la Teoría Integral puede aplicarse al desarrollo y la transformacion social mundial. Desde entonces hemos reunido un grupo de más de 500 individuos, hemos realizado eventos anuales en varios lugares del mundo, y continuamos siendo un centro de intercambio de recursos, metodologías, y entrenamientos de práctica integral para el desarrollo internacional.

Esta reunión en Colombia es uno de los primeros eventos de ISF que se celebrará principalmente en español, orientada hacia la comunidad integral vibrante y creativo que buscan un cambio sostenible en América Latina.

¿Qué puedes esperar de este Encuentro?

Entrar en diálogo con Ken Wilber (por teleconferencia) sobre aspectos clave de su teoría y cómo llevarla a la acción.
Compartir y conectar ideas sobre el enfoque con una comunidad de aprendizaje en la que participan personas procedentes de varios paises del mundo.
Conocer los aprendizajes de prácticas y personas que están “operando” el modelo en situación concretas y con resultados exitosos.
Conocer y profundizar en la comprensión de los diferentes elementos del enfoque integral.
Aprender nuevas habilidades prácticas para llevar tu propia experiencia hacia niveles mas profundos.
Perfeccionar y profundizar en ti mismo como instrumento de cambio, incluyendo facilitación del proceso Big Mind, trabajo de sombra, y danza espiral.

El desarrollo del evento incluye:

Viernes (08.30 – 18.00): Laboratorios de Aprendizaje

Esta jornada prevee 4 laboratorios (talleres) para aprender, revisar y profundizar los conceptos de la Teoría Integral de personas que han piloteado y refinado su uso en terreno.

Ubicará la teoría en relación directa con las situaciones globales que enfrentamos para lograr la sostenibilidad, el cambio social y el desarrollo. Será la introducción perfecta al modelo; para algunos, y una gran forma de refrescar conceptos para otros.

Sábado (08.30-18.00): Laboratorios de prácticas

Es la oportunidad para adentrarnos en el terreno de la aplicación concreta del modelo.
Nos enfocamos en observar y sentir el Enfoque Integral en acción, con ejemplos ilustrativos de su aplicación en temas concretos y diversos contextos.
Este día incluirá prácticas, y será una gran oportunidad para perfeccionar tu propio uso de modelos innovadores que abordan la complejidad en procesos sociales.
Incluiremos experiencias vivenciales individuales de trabajo de sombras y el proceso Big Mind.

Domingo (09.00-17.00): Laboratorio de diseño de prototipos de Proyectos Integrales.

Este es nuestro día para crear juntos, para diseñar y perfeccionar tus propias iniciativas, conseguir aliados, tejer redes, provocar la emergencia de nuevos impulsos integrales hacia el cambio.
La jornada está estructurada en modo Open Space…y será co-creado con la participación de todos y todas y con la facilitación de expertos en metodologia. Nuestro objetivo es diseñar y presentar cuatro o cinco prototipos para la accion integral en latinoamerica y el mundo.
Vamos a cerrar el dia, con un concierto de música en vivo y baile!!! Una verdadera fiesta transpersonal latinoamericana.

Lunes: Un Dia de "Networking", Creciendo la Red Integral Latinamericana

Este día de ’networking’, creciendo la red integral Latinoamerica, tendremos la oportunidad de hacer Networking con los demás miembros de la comunidad integral para revisar proyectos, planes, objetivos y posibles cooperaciones hacia el futuro!

Durante todo el programa:

Tendremos ejercicios vivenciales orientadas hacia su propio desarrollo personal, como la meditación, la danza espiral, practica de Big Mind (Gran Mente), la auto-indagación, el trabajo de sombra, y una sesión de diálogo. A menudo, cuando se enfrentan con el ritmo rápido de la realidad, el tremendo impacto de presenciar el sufrimiento, y la abrumadora complejidad de los problemas globales de hoy, incluso si usted está equipado con todas las herramientas de vanguardia que incluyen todos sus grados de educación, de hecho, lo más confiar en su propia yo-como-instrumento. Será a partir de su propio ser que la fuente de un camino a seguir. En ISF, nos tomamos muy en serio, y queremos ofrecer ejercicios para que usted pueda perfeccionar y profundizar ese yo-como-instrumento en esta reunión.

Precio incluye registro, hospedaje y alimentación. (Para la gente que no necesitan hospedaje, podemos dar la opción de que paguen U$ 260 y no incluir el hospedaje). Hemos diseñado una escala de registro variable, teniendo en cuenta que los participantes provienen de contextos muy diferentes.
