Integral Community Development in Post-war El Salvador. Centro Bartolomé de las Casas.

A detailed exploration of the integral approach used by Centro Bartolome de las Casas in El Salvador to community well-being and development in a post-war context. Includes the story of how the organization intuitively crafted an integral approach long before the team read Ken Wilber, as well as descriptions of their methods and tools for engaging psychology, faith/spirituality, and community well-being along with other exterior dimensions such as local economy, capacity development, and gender equality. A particular emphasis on post-war healing and psychosocial healing, as well as their well-known Masculinities program of working with men to shift deep seated indentities and behavioral patterns that lead toward improved gender equality and reduced domestic violence.
